      The Louisiana Judging Center of the American Orchid Society meets the fourth Saturday of each month.  Exceptions to judging dates may occur in November and December due to major holidays.  Dates can be confirmed by referring to aos.org.

     Training begins at 11am followed by lunch from noon until 1pm.

     American Orchid Society judging begins at 1pm. 

     The public is invited to submit blooming orchid plants or cut orchid flowers for judging.  Plants and flowers submitted for judging must be registered prior to 1pm.  Judging proceeds until all plants nominated have been judged.  Interested persons are invited and urged to attend the judging sessions as observers.

     The Lousiana Judging Center actively encourages anyone interested in becoming an American Orchid Society judge to join us at any monthly judging event or by calling Al Taylor at 337-424-9689.
